19 days before I'm a quarter-century! Boo!
For the past months, I've been bugging my other half on what I could do before reaching 25... a different haircut? Get contacts maybe? Exercise more? A makeover? LOL! This is so depressing! (Lor, what do You think? Hehehe...)
Suggestions anyone?
Saw this article on an Australian newspaper...

Memo to men: it takes time and effort to create an erotic mood.
Hmmm...
Yesterday, I went out to watch Ms. Saigon with Ate Kay. It's exciting because it was my first time to watch a musical but as usual, I felt guilty leaving my kids at home. *sigh!* I know that once in a while I have to go out and enjoy my remaining 'young' years. But I just can't help it! Anyway, it was great!
And speaking of great, (I think) I saw an old friend. She was Carlo's nursing classmate back in New Zealand. I was pretty sure it was her -- same facial features, hair, built, height... Anyway, as I was approaching her (complete with a huge smile plastered on my face and hoping she would recognise me), I was shocked as she just walked past me as if I was a complete stranger! It made me wonder if it was just the crowd, the lighting in the theatre's foyer or she just simply did not recognise me. Dang! Sana tinawag ko na lang ang name nya... umandar na naman kasi ang hiya ko, not to mention I was scared that it might be someone else LOL!
Hmm.. time really flies. Just the other day, my daughter's godmother (and good friend) told me that her brother got married. Wow! Am I that old? LOL. I can still remember meeting him for the first time during her debut practise (that's eight years ago). As I was looking at their wedding pictures, I've realised how wonderful and interesting life can be.
Most of the people I know are getting married, whether it's this year or in the future. Hmmm.. feeling ko tuloy napag-iiwanan na ako ng panahon. I've been engaged for a very long time and after all these years, I still have no idea what our wedding will be like. All I know is I wanted a romantic theme, sort of like Victorian inspired.. with lots of roses and good music, and that everyone's happy. But thinking of our budget and different tastes, I think this is impossible. Just the other day I told Carlo that I just wanted a simple wedding na lang.. maybe we'll just wear a shirt and a pair of jeans, just to get it over and done with! All these years kasi, we both feel and treat each other as a married couple. No more insecurities, no more tampo on little things, more understanding and I can say that we're closer to each other. We can talk about anything and everything. (Some of you may have an idea what I'm talking about) Siguro for me, having a wedding just makes it 'official'. So for those of you who got married and are getting married, congratulations and may He bless you with a wonderful and strong marriage! :)
I'm thinking of a career change: Dentistry or Interior Designing. Argh!
